Most people would agree that this is a choice. However here is a counterargument you see because learning to read a language like Chinese takes a long time.your mind about learning Chinese characters maybe it is because you are starting to take your studies more seriously or you want to achieve a higher level. level then you will definitely kick yourself for not starting sooner man I could have just learned kanji once a day for the past two years but now I have learned hundreds of kanji instead I have to start from scratch I'm sorry to say this.
